Late Smt. Manda Bandekar Chairperson of Bhavans Kendra, Goa and Bhavans School in Upasnagar was a beacon and a lighthouse who was full of ideas and thoughts. She got associated with Bhavans in 2010 and with the generosity of Sri. Narayan R. Bandekar the school has come a long way from a two-bedroom house to a 18 roomed building in Upasnagar.

In the death of Manda Bandekar, we behold a great life ended which was full of purpose and achievement. She was a beacon who led Bhavans with passion and vision. She will always be remembered for her meticulousness and her gentle smile. All the teachers, staff and students are feeling the void. May her soul rest in peace.
